A Product Line is a group of products that are related to one another and marketed and sold under a single brand name, by a company.
The Product Line Codes section allows you to add, edit, and delete product line codes. To manage product line codes:
1. Navigate to Account Management > Table Maintenance > Global Tables > Product Line Codes.
The Product Line Codes page will display.
2. To add a new product line code, enter the Product Line, Description, Pop. Class %'s (percentage of popularity class), # of Sales Per (number of sales periods), Class Type (1=Quantity, 2=Sales), # of Item-Rept (number of items to be reported), and Sort Sequence (1=Descending order, 2=Ascending order).
3. Enter Y in the Action field and press Enter.
The new product line code will be added.
4. To edit an existing product line code, double-click the product line code which you want to edit in the table below.
Details of the selected product line code will display.
5. Edit the values of the required fields, enter Y in the Action field, and press Enter.
The details of the product line code will be updated.
6. To delete a product line code, double-click the product line code which you want to delete in the table below.
Details of the selected product line code will display.
7. Enter Del in the Action field, and press Enter.
The product line code will be deleted.
